The site of the famous defeat of 1552, known as the Siege of Eger, Eger Castle currently serves as a museum and provides a great view of the city from its hilltop location. During the Siege of Eger, a small Hungarian army of 2,000 people, including women and children, defeated the Turkish army of 80,000 soldiers. The castle was later captured by the Turks, who proceeded to rule it for almost a century. Take a guided tour of the castle to learn more about its role in the country's history. Beautiful castle with lots to do, plenty of food & drink stalls. Great inside museums showing the vast historical importance of the castle. Great views over Eger. All of it is walkable.

Nice and cute. And full with history. You can see many ancient pieces around, and very nice view up here. You have to walk little bit to go up to the Castle because it located on the hill.
