  • If you want to see the best of Renaissance & Italian paintings then this is the place. It has so many classics that one can't count. Located in the center of town, it is so easy to add this stop to any itinerary. There are many sights to see & be prepared to take the stairs to start at the top. Worth a visit you you are indeed an art lover.
  • Spectacular museum with a ton of statues and paintings. We spent 6 hours there and probably could have spent much more. There are guided tours, and audio guides available but if you can read Italian or English then the placards give great explanations for every piece. The rooftop cafe is also nice! Seat yourself and you will be served. The sandwiches are great and the desserts are delectable!
