  • According to good luck, in 1059, at the head of the land at the time, Nobu Ashio-Zaemon Sato was told of his dream, and he found the eleven-sided Kannon at Senbongake in Otachi, took it home by boat, and dedicated it to the present Shirahanaji Temple. Because a beautiful white flower bloomed on one side, it seems to have named it Hakuka-ji temple. The eleven-sided Kannon statue of the main image is a secret Buddha and is said to be an open book once every 33 years.
