An enviable location on the southern end of the Sinai Peninsula and year-round warm weather boost tourism in Sharm El Sheikh and make it one of Egypt's premier travel destinations.

Expect a bit cooler weather when traveling from Aswan in March: highs in Sharm El Sheikh hover around 32°C, while lows dip to 22°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Sun) so you can travel to Cairo.

More than 20 million people call Cairo their home and, as soon as you set foot in the sprawling metropolis, it's evident they make it crowded and chaotic, but also exuberant and charming.
Get some cultural insight at Pyramids of Giza and Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Mosque of Muhammad Ali and Zamalek (Gezira Island). Change things up with a short trip to Great Sphinx in Giza (about 34 minutes away). It doesn't end there: get a taste of the local shopping with Khan Al-Khalili and admire the landmark architecture of Hanging Church (El Muallaqa, Sitt Mariam, St Mary).
