Lovely beach, one can hire umbrellas and sun loungers. There is a great beach bar and their restaurant right next to it. Clean, holiday vibes and very cold water.

My son and I enjoyed a beautiful walk along the beach at dusk and took some great photos. We then returned the following morning for a big breakfast at Dutchies which was fun.

Best beach in the western cape! Huge span with +/-500 parking bays (must be a nightmare in peak season). Restaurant just set back from the beach. Good ablution facilities. Update: been in peak season and it’s busy but still worth it. Remember your face mask for visiting the toilets/change rooms. Although the staff don’t wear theirs…

One of the nicest beaches I've been on. Very long and wide. Never felt crowded. Easy to rent a beach chair and umbrella . We are from the States and are so impressed with the beauty and very friendly people in Hermanus.
