Situated on the shores of a natural lagoon, Knysna Golf Club meanders between native trees and through a series of undulating greens and tidal inlets. This 18-hole golf course, which is flat and easy to walk, caters to beginners as well as seasoned golfers thanks to its strategic bunkers and many water hazards. The lagoon is home to many bird species that nest on the fairways--watch for (and steer clear of) the marked nesting sites (especially around the 13th tee). Amenities include clean and well-kept changing rooms, a pro shop, and a pub with a reasonably priced, simple menu. Welcome visitors. Course in great condition. The food at the halfway house was great. Friendly staff. Try the bobotie or the french toast with camenberg and bacon.

Was here a few weeks ago with some family and friends for a special meal. Everything was great and a success overall. Beautiful course as well.

Really enjoyed my game here today. Course is in really good condition. With so many more 'prestigious' courses in and around the Knysna area, this quaint course deserves more attention. A fine test of golf with the wind up and water on many of the holes. Really good clubhouse and facilities. Only downside were the helpful but less than enthusiastic Pro Shop staff but that didn't detract from the overall experience much. Give it a try you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Excellent flat, easy-walking golf course but with almost twenty opportunities to find natural water hazards. So bring plenty of ammunition! Friendly staff on reception, brilliant starter Marshall, knowledgeable caddy team. The half-way refreshments are far better in terms of product, prices and service than at the far grander resort courses. And an interesting and challenging course in very good condition. And unlike the other two courses in Knysna, no baboons to steal your ball! But a word of warning : you may be pestered by ball finders and sellers on the course especially in the afternoons. And the bar has been known to close at 18.00 sharp even in high season. So play quickly or risk no cold beers 😭 Very highly recommended! Enjoy.
